Dr Hayley Willacy


Dr Hayley Willacy has been a practising GP for over twenty years and was made a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners in recognition of her work for Patient.info and in medical education. Hayley started authoring professional reference articles in 2004, became Clinical Editor in November 2012 but from October 2018 her role is just in authoring articles.

After working for Manchester Medical School for six years she moved to Cumbria where she practises. She is Deputy Director of Primary Care teaching at Lancaster University Medical School, where she has particular responsibility for the community experiences of medical students in years 1-3. She has published several clinical articles in peer-reviewed journals and is currently undertaking a masters degree in Medical Education.
