Job Description:

The Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) is currently seeking to recruit highly motivated and experienced individuals for various positions. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing quality teaching and training in various aviation-related fields to both professionals and aspiring individuals. They will be expected to contribute to the development of the College’s curriculum and teaching materials, conduct research, and publish scholarly works. They will also be responsible for supervising students and providing guidance and support throughout their training period. Some of the positions available for recruitment include:

Job Requirements:

1. Instructor (Aircraft Maintenance)

• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or a related field.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Must possess an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license from a recognized aviation authority.
• Must have experience in teaching and training aircraft maintenance personnel.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools.

2. Instructor (Air Traffic Services)

• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Air Traffic Management or a related field.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Air Traffic Services.
• Must possess a valid Air Traffic Control license from a recognized aviation authority.
• Must have experience in teaching and training air traffic controllers.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools.

3. Instructor

   (Flight Dispatch)

• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Science or a related field.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Flight Dispatch operations.
• Must possess a valid Flight Dispatcher license from a recognized aviation authority.
• Must have experience in teaching and training Flight Dispatch personnel.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools.

4. Instructor (Pilot)

• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or a related field.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a pilot.
• Must possess a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license from a recognized aviation authority.
• Must have experience in teaching and training pilots.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools.

5. Instructor (Aviation Security)

• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Security Management or a related field.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Aviation Security.
• Must possess a valid Aviation Security certification from a recognized aviation authority.
• Must have experience in teaching and training aviation security personnel.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools.

NCAT Recruitment 2023/2024 Requirements

• The age limit for people with a high school diploma is 18 to 22; the age limit is 18 to 26 for those with higher education qualifications, such as nurses, NCEs, ONDs, and drivers.
• Every candidate must provide their O’level (WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB) results. Credit in mathematics and English is necessary.
• All applicants must be free of contagious illnesses, stutters, mental health issues, eye or hearing impairments, and physical disabilities. It’s necessary to be mentally and physically fit. There won’t be any ink or tattoos on the body.
• For first-degree holders, a minimum of Second Class Upper Division is required, and for HND holders, a minimum of Upper Credit.
• not have a history of participating in any unlawful behavior.
• Shortlisted candidates will take a qualifying aptitude exam.
