Job Description:

The Nigeria Customs Service is currently recruiting to fill various positions in its workforce. The positions available include Superintendent Cadre, Inspectorate Cadre, and Assistant Cadre.

Superintendent Cadre: This position is for graduates who have completed their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program or possess a higher degree such as a Master’s or PhD. The successful candidates will be responsible for leading and supervising teams in the agency.

Inspectorate Cadre: This position is open to candidates who possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent. The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising and monitoring the activities of subordinate officers.

Assistant Cadre: This position is open to candidates who possess a minimum of five (5) credits in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing support duties in the agency.

Job Requirements:

To be eligible for the Nigeria Customs Service recruitment, interested candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. Be a Nigerian citizen by birth or descent.
2. Possess a minimum of five (5) credits in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent for the Assistant Cadre position.
3. Possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent for the Inspectorate Cadre position.
4. Possess a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent for the Superintendent Cadre position.
5. Be between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
6. Be medically fit and present a certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital.
7. Be of good character and not have been convicted of any criminal offense.
8. Not be a member of any secret society or cult.
