Job Description:

The National Root Crops Research Institute is seeking to recruit suitably qualified candidates to fill various positions in the institute. The available positions include research officers, laboratory technologists, administrative officers, and others. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out research, laboratory analysis, and administrative duties as assigned by the institute.

Job Requirements:

• Candidates must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
• Candidates must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
• Relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
• Candidates must possess excellent communication, analytical, and research skills.
• Candidates must be proficient in the use of computer applications and laboratory equipment.
• Candidates must be able to work effectively in a team and meet set targets and deadlines.

• Every candidate must provide their O’level (WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB) results. Credit in mathematics and English is necessary.
• All applicants must be free of contagious illnesses, stutters, mental health issues, eye or hearing impairments, and physical disabilities. It’s necessary to be mentally and physically fit. There won’t be any ink or tattoos on the body.
• For first-degree holders, a minimum of Second Class Upper Division is required, and for HND holders, a minimum of Upper Credit.
• not have a history of participating in any unlawful behavior.
• Shortlisted candidates will take a qualifying aptitude exam.
